Lucky Lady!

Grandma Lois "Strong Arms" Coppock
February 1919 - August 2008

My beautiful, wonderful, sweet, funny, sarcastic, loving and generous grandmother passed away this morning at 4:27am. She was surrounded by her 5 children and their spouses - just as she wanted it. She was so peaceful and comfortable - also just as she wanted it. She was 89 1/2 years old. She was a sensational mother and a one-of-a-kind grandmother. Our family is so blessed to have her in our lives - and for as long as we did.

Last Friday, she accepted Jesus into her heart. So today, she is in Heaven with Jesus, probably visiting with Grandpa Pete, Big Jim, Jimmie Hal, and Mantha. I know they have made her feel right at home, as they have been there for a bit longer than her. Lucky Lady!

This is her birthday cake from this year. This is what I called her "Hot Stuff"

When she moved into my parents' home last October, we put her handprint into her concrete walkway. It's nice to have that down there.
