Some rambling thoughts...

... Seems like life has been in hyperspeed the last several weeks. So many things have happened to my family, we went on vacation, we decided to do a growth group at our home, and I don't know... just seems like our life doesn't ever slow down. I need to learn balance, rest and discipline. So much easier said than done. Can anyone recommend a good book that might steer me in the right direction?

... Mike and I are very excited about growth group starting this week. We do not know very many of the couples that have joined, so it will be very nice to make some new friends. We also think it will be nice since it's at our house. I just hope no one is allergic to dogs :)

... Thank you for praying for my family. We needed it (and still do). We miss her so much but, in time, we know it will get better.

... My psoriasis is much improved. The only place where it's being a bit stubborn is on my legs. I have every confidence that it'll work there too - eventually. But my back, shoulders, scalp, face, arms, thighs, ears, neck and arms are probably 95% clear. I feel like Enbrel has given me part of my life back. Thank you Jesus!

... Monday Night Football is on at our house. We started a little tradition on Mondays where my dad, uncle, brother and Mike watch the game in the man room and we throw something easy together for dinner. It's on us girls to take care of it because Mom typically stays home to enjoy a night to herself. Good for her!

... I now officially have gray hair. Not sure when it happened, or how I'm going to take care of it. But, something must be done. Do I just highlight, or dye my whole head... not sure yet! But, Mike found TWO totally WHITE hairs on my head the other day. My mom doesn't have gray hair. Maybe I'm taking after my Grandma Coppock....

... Baby fever is hitting the Hodson household (once again). We have two dogs and so we can't really get another puppy to curb our desires... So, we have to figure out if we want to hold off for a while longer or take the plunge. I think I should just focus on the easier decisions for now, like whether to highlight my hair or dye my whole head :)

... Dizzy and Boo are hanging in there. Mike and I are doing really good. Life is hectic, but we are happy, super in love, enjoying the weather and can't really complain.

I think that's all the ramblings I have for now :) Off to bed!
