Ok, so. My dear friends and I are NOT huge drinkers (at all). But, at Angela's bachelorette party we were "VIP" at Club LAX in Las Vegas. We thought, "Why not! It's going to be fun and so different." A friend of friend hooked us up, so we got in for FREE, had a VIP booth, our own waitress, our own security guard and a free bottle of vodka (that they mixed with pineapple juice, cranberry juice and something else). All we had to do was "take care of the waitress", according to the person that let us in. So, we knew we had to tip her well, based on what our bill would have been. Soooo.... the bottle of vodka that they gave us was $425!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We were shocked. It was a bottle of Belvedere vodka, and all I could say ALL night were things like, "That bottle of vodka is $60 at Costco.... I just KNOW that bottle of vodka is $60 at Costco.... What a rip off, that bottle is $60 at Costco!" All in all, we had a good time at the club watching other people spend crazy amounts of $$ on anything and everything and taking cute pictures. We were all laughing all night that WE went to Club LAX. We went clubbing. hahaha, it still makes me laugh. But, we had a great time. And, at the end of the night, our bottle of vodka was stolen by the group of guys next to us, so that kinda ended our night. We were thankful that we didn't buy it and, lucky for them, we aren't huge drinkers anyway, so we just figured, "Eh, they probably need it more than us. They can have it. Let's go back to our room!!" We are real party animals :)
On to the real reason for my post. Mike and I were at Sam's Club today (not Costco, but close enough), and we found a bottle of Belvedere vodka. This bottle was HUGE - way bigger than the bottle we got at LAX. And, I just had to take a picture of the price to prove I was very wrong!! It was CHEAPER than $60. I also put a normal size bottle of champagne next to the bottle so you could see how enormous this bottle was, and how LOW the price was. We totally got ripped! I was very right about that part! :)
