... WAS SO AMAZING!! And our Growth Group was so awesome and helped Mike out so much over at Project Oz. It was so fun to serve together. It was so awesome to see the enormous effort that was put into this project by the high school staff and students.
Our GG's shift was this afternoon (11am-2pm) and we were able to accomplish a lot in just a little bit of time too! Ryan and Carlee worked so hard on shaping the volleyball court and it looked SO AWESOME after. Christa was a shovel weeding and caulking machine!! Carlee did some caulking too. Jen was there all weekend and worked her tail off the entire time. Justin and Chipper build stairs! Lief pitched in on a ton of different projects for Mike. It was just SO COOL! It's amazing what can be done in two days. I loved it. And the rest of our group was working on other projects around the county. It's just so awesome!!
I was so touched by all of the high school students that signed up to come and help renovate this home in Oceanside. They were contributing to a home of their peers. It was just so cool to see the kids who live at Project Oz work along side the NCC kids. They all have great attitudes and got so much accomplished. I think people were blessed all around. Thanks Mikey and the High School staff for giving all of us a place to serve this weekend. You guys were awesome to work with.
