OK - I think I figured it out!

Ok, I added a picture, formatted some text, picked out a layout,... I think I got it! Ok, so here it is - my official first blog!!

Like I said above, I am sitting in the San Diego Airport. My plane was supposed to leave at 7:05. Now it's leaving at 10:10. There are worse things in the world. I am heading to Salt Lake City for work. I'll be back on Tuesday night - so it's a short trip. And I have a lot to look forward to when I get home. I have Angie's wedding this weekend - which I am SOOO excited for. We have our first night of our new growth group on Thursday night. We aren't hosting or leading - just joining. So that will be very nice. Our awesome friends had their first baby this weekend, so I'm excited to get home and go see her too. I'm staying in a fun hotel while in SLC, so that makes the trip nicer too. All in all, (see!! I told you I live a boring life!) it should be a cool week.

I'm coming off a busy weekend. We celebrated Dan's birthday on Friday with dinner and racing at K1 Speed. We had never done it before and it was really fun. Plus, we got to have dinner with a couple I did not know that well, so that was really nice. Nanny's 14th birthday party on Saturday. We all threw her an about-town scavenger hunt party. It was a HUGE success. The girls in our car got so competitive and DID NOT want that white SUV to pass us! One of our girls asked Ariel, "Are you adverse to speeding?!" We cracked up!! We would have never used a word like "adverse" when we were in 8th grade. These girls were quite bright! I have included a couple pictures of her and her friends. I am so glad she had a great time.

She is so worth it :)
